Central Employment are delighted to be working with North East based Digital Media Agency as they look to recruit a Head of Digital PR Manager, joining their expanding SEO & Content team.

Reporting into the SEO & Content Director, you will own their Digital PR & Outreach service area across client strategy, planning and development.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Working within a team environment
  • Manage digital PR campaign budget to deliver results on time and within specified budgets
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, practices and developments (digital industry, clients’ industry and agency industry)
  • Use search and insight tools to support campaigns
  • Regularly research and source partners across different industries to create relationships and maintain a database of online contacts
  • Attend and contribute to regular brainstorms to come up with innovative PR ideas for your clients
  • Can work well with clients from communicating ideas through to project management and reporting on results
  • Continually monitor news and search for coverage opportunities
  • Collaborate with the wider team to work towards driving results for clients

Essential Experience:

The successful Head of Digital PR Manager, will have experience in researching, planning, activating and measuring digital PR and authority building campaigns and tactical activity for clients, ideally in an agency setting. You will have an enthusiasm for digital and have an eye for the types of stories and content formats that will secure coverage on reputable national, local and niche industry publications.

You will have experience in selling your ideas to clients and be a team player who is comfortable managing and coaching a small team.

  • We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with continued senior support.
  • The ideal candidate will be creative, full of ideas and approach campaigns with enthusiasm.
  • Have a desire to continually learn and build upon your existing skill set
  • Have strong copywriting skills
  • Have at least 4+ years of digital PR experience and ideally have previous training at undergraduate / apprenticeship level
  • Learn quickly and are ambitious
  • Enjoy interacting with different people on a daily basis
  • Are capable of seeing digital PR campaign ideas through to delivery and results for clients
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced team environment
  • Can commercial grow the overall service offering
