Central Employment is currently recruiting a Team Leader on behalf of a leading provider of fresh snack products to the major supermarkets, based in Team Valley, Gateshead.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead a production team to achieve KPIs
- Liaise with other departments
- Responsible for GMP
- Manage team performance
- Absence management, appraisals, training, performance reviews
- Accident investigations, Risk Assessments & SOPs
- Performance monitoring
- Implement improvements
- Cost control & reduction
- Develop your team
- Deputise for the Shift Production Manager
Candidate Requirements
- Supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience of lean manufacturing & process improvement
- Good understanding of GMP
- Able to lead & motivate a team
- Understanding of ERP systems
- Good problem-solving skills
Rate of Pay: £12.77 per hour
Shift Times & Days:
6am to 6pm or 8am to 8pm, Sunday to Saturday (fortnightly shift pattern, including weekends)
Location: NE11
