Central Employment are currently in partnership with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers in the Glass Industry. Our client is growing rapidly and would like you to be a part of that growth. Therefore, we are on the lookout for new Production Operatives for their manufacturing unit in North Shields.
Roles Available
- Cutting Operatives – operating cutting tables to cut the glass down to size in line with the customers specifications.
- Arrising Operatives – operating arrising machines which are used to take the sharpness off the edge of the glass.
- Furnace Operatives – operating a furnace which is used to toughen the glass prior to it being made into a unit.
- Line Operatives – working on a line assembling the insulated glass units which includes onloading, press machine, unit sealing and offloading.
Candidate Requirements
- Able to travel to Stanley for 6am starts
- Able to work a 3 shift pattern
- Good Time and Attendance
Rate of Pay
£10.42 per hour up to £13.00 per hour with shift allowance
Shift Times & Days:
Rotating Shift Pattern of:
- 6am-2pm Monday to Friday
- 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday
- 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday
