Administration & Reception Support
Central employment is currently recruiting for an Administration & Reception Support for one of our clients based in Newcastle, to work as part of their integral and energetic Customer Service Team. The main responsibilities for this role will be to deliver excellent customer experience and support the organisation through an efficient admin service.
The position will focus on administrative duties but will also play a key part of our customer-facing, first point of contact through a friendly, efficient reception function. The right candidate will therefore have great communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also be a quick learner with the ability to pick up tasks easily and confidently understand the needs of the business and its end-users. Ideally with a background in a similar role, the successful applicant will have the capability to work under their own initiative and strike a good balance between a reactive and proactive approach to work.
Key Responsibilities are:
• Supporting teams across the business with administrative tasks including:
o Adding customer orders to the ERP system accurately
o Organising stationary needs
o Supporting “fun fund” activities
o Organising mail, courier collections and other post-related queries
o Managing calendar coordination and the reservation of meeting rooms
o Performing word processing, photocopying, faxing and other administrative duties as assigned
• General Reception tasks including:
o Greeting visitors and making them feel welcome
o Responding to incoming calls in the appropriate manner and directing them to the
right people/business area – being able to field where necessary
o Dealing with any hospitality and facilities-related tasks to assist in a positive visitor experience
