Job Title: Temporary Material Handler

Location: Washington Tyne and Wear 

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a FLT material handlers in a great and busy Warehouse in Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for storing materials in the warehouse and maintaining inventory accuracy. Additionally, they will assist with loading and unloading trucks, packing orders for shipment, receiving incoming shipments of materials, and other related tasks. This is an excellent opportunity where full training is given and a permanent job is secured after 12 successful weeks. The first 5 days training is to gain experience working in a warehouse environment with potential to move into a permanent position after training is completed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehousing preferred but not required
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written

Candidates who are interested would be expected to attend an on site induction (usually just a few hours) involving drug and alcohol test and presentation. Candidates will be paid for the week if they complete the course and complete their first shift the following week. Long term work – 2 shift pattern (days and lates). Overtime will also be available and required.
