Central Employment are looking for a Production Team Coach for one of their global pharmaceutical clients based in Northumberland. The Manufacturing Team Coach will provide leadership, coaching and development to a team within the packaging & manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive man management skills with proven experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities 

Operational 

  • Participates in Daily Walk Through of sector and in-plant tours as needed
  • Manages adherence to metrics using tracking, trending and visual management
  • Writes and provides input, review and approval for atypical, observation, and process capability investigations
  • Identifies and facilitates Continuous Improvement opportunities that result in cost savings
  • Approves IQ/OQ/PQ/CC documents
  • Provides input into new product planning and development of capital plans

People Management 

  • Manages recruitment and selection of O2 operational staff
  • Executes retention and engagement plans for key talent
  • Assesses employee training/development needs to enhance team performance and facilitates cross-training

Essential Requirements 

  • 5+ years experience in regulated manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
  • Extensive experience of continuous improvement (Lean tools, 5s)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with all key stakeholders internal & external
  • S./B.A. degree required (science, engineering or other technical field preferred) OR, Associate Degree with related technical industry experience require OR equivalent experience
  • Ability to analyse data and costs, prioritise costs, problem solve, project manage and manage change
  • SOP system, site deviation management systems, change control, qualification and validation processes & cGMP
