Central Employment is currently recruiting a Lead Operator/Supervisor on behalf of a well-known food manufacturer & supplier to the major supermarkets based in Team Valley, Gateshead. Due to the success of their new product range, they are looking to appoint a Lead Operator/Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead teams to deliver high levels of efficiency, hygiene & quality
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
Drive shift efficiency & maximise output
Minimise waste
Execute the production plan
Comply with regulatory requirements
Ensure allergen control & traceability
Complete process control documentation
Continuous improvement activities

Candidate Requirements

Experience gained in the Food Industry
Manufacturing background, with knowledge of GMP & Food Safety

Salary

£25,500 pa + benefits

Shifts

12-hour shifts

Location: NE11
