Central Employment are currently looking for Despatch Operative/Packing operatives to work in a renewed and busy production factory for our client based in Longbenton.

The client is looking for the right candidates that have good practical skills, can work quickly and accurately, has previously worked in a similar role advantageous but not essential. Duties include the packing of various products into boxes and palletising. The candidate must ensure that all products are of a high standard and quality. Good personal and food hygiene is essential.

This is an ongoing position leading to a permanent position for the right candidate with competitive rates of pay.


Duties and Requirements

•             Follow general health and safety

•             Must be able to work well in a team

•             To ensure the level of quality is maintained through the production process.

•             To work at all times in accordance with the company’s Health and Safety rules.

•             General manual handling

•             Packing and warehouse duties.

•             Flexibility on working days required.


Candidates will be working 12 hour shifts between the hours of 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. Flexible shift pattern available throughout the week.

The rate of pay will be £9.50 per hour.
