Central Employment is collaborating with an excellent manufacturing company to recruit a Customer Service Coordinator. This full-time position, based in either Keighley or Sedgefield, offers a Monday to Friday-schedule, providing ample opportunity for professional growth and development.

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations within the company’s customer service department. This dynamic role demands adaptability, strong organisational skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, process, and verify the accuracy of customer orders using appropriate IT systems.
  • Handle all customer correspondence promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive company image.
  • Monitor customer stock requirements and maintain regular communication to ensure their needs are met.
  • Assist in enhancing order processing procedures and data input within IT systems.
  • Complete necessary reporting and administrative tasks within specified deadlines.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to address service issues and promotional activities.
  • Manage customer inquiries regarding delivery, invoices, and general queries.
  • Review customer forecasts and provide reports to planners as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and friendly demeanour.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet applications.
  • Experience in the plastic food packaging industry and knowledge of BRC Packaging Standards is advantageous.

Job Type:

Full-time (40 hours per week with a half-hour unpaid break), Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Permanent
