Central Employment are seeking a Web/Digital Designer for a UK leading consumer focused business, who are looking to expand their Web/Digital Creative team based at their HQ in Tyne & Wear.

Position Summary

We are now recruiting for a Digital/Web Designer to join our in-house Studio. Within this role you will be working directly with our internal marketing teams and be responsible for taking briefs, designing and building campaign landing pages, graphics, email marketing, social media graphics, and HTML 5 Banner ads.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for taking brief, guiding customers on best practice and developing solutions using our modular framework
• Ensure consistency of brand and creative across campaign digital customer touch points
• You will be an expert using Adobe Creative Suite programs, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Expert in the production of campaign landing pages, web banners for social media, animated dis-play banner ads and emails
• Make recommendations on user experience, accessibility & content
• Strong understanding of HTML & CSS, CSS systems/grid systems
• Knowledge or background of UX/UI principles & systems is desirable
• Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning
• Translate wireframes into simple, easy-to-use User Interfaces
• Provide design support to other business lines to create product graphics, logos, identity design, or other similar offline graphics
• Retouch photography

 For this role we are looking for you to have:

• Successful professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or in-house team
• Strong portfolio of design work, demonstrating solutions to business problems through effective design
• Expert using Adobe Creative Suite programs, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and experience of Animate
• Sound knowledge of HTML & CSS, CSS systems/grid systems
• Knowledge or background of UX/UI principles & systems is desirable
• Experience of creating complex graphics, animation, and content for a diverse array of platforms is de-sirable but not essential to the role
• High technical aptitude and ability to learn
• Strong work ethic and personal accountability
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong time management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in teams or independently
• Degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications or related field is preferred but not essential
