Central Employment are delighted to be working with a global provider of manufactured products, due to an extensive work load in the IT department, I’m looking for an additional IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join the business. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and deploying virtualised environments, good exposure to general network troubleshooting and experience within a 2nd line capacity either in-house or through a managed service. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the continuous development of the IT landscape and increase and improve operational stability.
- Responsible for the comprehensive proactive support of our application systems and support of the associated user groups.
- Responsible for the installation, configuration, migration, maintenance and care of the client and server systems.
- Working with an international team to develop standardised processes for optimising the user helpdesk
Essential Requirements
- Experience in server virtualisation and cloud technologies.
- Motivated to master tasks independently, responsibly and in a solution-oriented manner.
- Good knowledge of common modern IT setups such as:
- Barramundi or SCCM
- Windows server 2008R2, 2012, 2019, 2019
- Windows 10
- Google Workspace
- Remote Tools RDP, Teamviewer
- Barracuda
- HP Networking
- Wireless Technologies Cisco, Unifi
The Person
- At least 5 years professional experience in the construction, expansion and maintenance of complex IT landscapes.
- Experience in server virtualisation and cloud technologies.
