Central Employment is seeking an Internal Technical Recruitment Consultant on behalf of our client based in Middlesbrough, a successful digital business, which provides consultancy services to a wide range of customers across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the company’s recruitment strategy, develop a positive candidate experience and represent the business to prospective employees in a professional manner. We are seeking candidates with an interest in and passion for Technology. Ideally, you will have either gained experience in a sales-based role within a technical business or you’ll be an agency recruiter looking to move away from business development.
Key Responsiblities
- Work with internal stakeholders to establish what sets this client apart from its competitors
- Create a positive, concise and engaging “candidate journey” for all new hires
- Prospect, engage and meet with prospective employees in both formal and informal environments, to promote the benefits of the business
- Evaluate candidates based on their technical capability, utilising your understanding of the business’s tech stack and supporting applicants through the recruitment process
- Assess candidates’ cultural fit
- Expand your candidate network, organising & hosting networking events to attract local talent
- Attend networking events with a focus on those attracting technical staff, including Further Education open days
- Develop the corporate brand, expanding the organisation’s marketing reach and promoting the company as an employer of choice
- Benchmark salary surveys in the local area, ensuring salary packages are competitive with market conditions
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable experience working within either a technology-based business as an SDR/Account Manager OR an Agency Recruiter with a focus on the recruitment of technical staff
- An interest in and passion for digital technologies (some understanding of development languages and their usage would be very beneficial)
The Person
- Excellent consultative qualities, good social skills and an ability to engage with a wide array of prospective employees
- Effective communicator, able to demonstrate measured reasoning and justification to senior management
- An understanding and experience of the challenges in hiring technical personnel
- Must be able to commute to Teesside and be predominately office based
This role is suitable for either full-time or part-time workers, I am open to the hours that would be of interest. However, you must be able to commute to Teesside.
