Central Employment are working with a global B2B eCommerce brand, specialists in Sportswear Personalisation and Licencing.  Due to departmental workload and business need, they are looking to recruit a Data Administrator.  

FT onsite role initially (3 months), then potential hybrid working.

Data Administrator profile: 

The Data Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing the data input and output on there ERP system (Currently SAP B1). This role involves analysing, interpreting, managing and reporting on data within the ERP system to ensure data accuracy and consistency.  You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions to improve data management.

Key aspects of the Data Administrator role: 

  • Analyse, interpret, and manage data within the ERP system.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data within the ERP system.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues within the ERP system.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand needs and assist in providing the necessary data and reporting.
  • Work with the internal technical team and external contractors to implement improvements to the SAP system based on data analysis.
  • Creation and management of SOWs, CRs and SOPs.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Knowledge/experience using:
    • ERP Systems such as SAP B1 systems.
    • Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience of working as a Data Administrator, Technical Support or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SAP data management.
  • Proficiency in data processing and analysis.
  • Basic SQL knowledge a bonus.
  • Forward thinking and able to make improvement recommendations.
  • Excellent organisation skills and time keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • A relevant third level qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
