Central Employment are looking to recruit experienced Sheet Metal Worker in Gateshead. Working for the largest specialist manufacturing contractor in the North East, the successful candidate will join a team of multi-skilled engineers. 

Working within a designated welding bay. You will be responsible for Welding a variety of products ranging in size (1.5mm / 16mm), technical difficulty and quality demands. Materials are pre-cut and formed for welding. We are looking for enthusiastic welders looking to join an established company and team. Huge order book, with long term employment, company benefits etc. available.

Temp – Perm Contracts

Dayshift – Monday to Thursday (10hour shifts).

Overtime available.

Nightshifts available (33%)

Responsibilities

  • Welding (MIG) (Mild Steel & Aluminium)
  • Stainless TIG desireable
  • Working from detailed drawings
  • Occasional Assembly (Panel wiring, switches, gears etc.)
  • Weekly PPE and Machinery checks
