Central Employment is currently working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading distributors of pharmaceutical products.

Our client is going from strength to strength and is on the lookout for new team members to join their distribution facility in Thurrock, Grays. It is essential that you are over 21 and have no more than 3 points on your licence, for insurance purposes.

You will join an established team of drivers and will be provided with instruction from day one. This will include full SOP training to ensure regulations are adhered to when dealing with pharmaceutical products plus on the job training out on the road with one of the company’s experienced drivers.

Shifts

Day shift, Monday to Friday (start times vary between 6am and 8am)
Saturday morning from 8am till 1pm

You will be responsible for:

Driving a 3.5t van
Loading & unloading pharmaceutical products
Journey planning
Good timekeeping
Vehicle checks
Supporting warehouse staff during busy times (you will be trained to help pick and pack orders)
