Central Employment are pleased to be working with a successful Apparel and Retail Personalisation specialist in Macclesfield, are currently looking for a Customer Service Manager.

Purpose of the Customer Service Manager:

The purpose of the customer service manager is to help key customers with complaints and question, give customers information about products and services, but to also manage a small team of 4 customer sales coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and develop a team of junior customer service representatives
  • Oversee the CS team workflow
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Responding promptly to key customer enquiries
  • Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints
  • Communicating and coordinating with key/senior colleagues as necessary
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
  • Main point of contact link/between customer production
  • Update the revenue tracker for finance
  • Update daily log – notify customers for shipping details
  • Support commercial team with samples requests/quotes/production
  • All other reasonable duties as assigned

Essential Experience:

  • 3 years B2B customer service experience at manager or supervisor level
  • Efficient within word, excel and outlook
  • Customer facing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong relationship building, negotiating and administrative skills
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
  • Knowledge and interest in sports apparal/sports industry
  • Exercises personal professionalism and sense of accountability
  • Thrived on working within a team based environment
  • Highly organised
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
