Central Employment is currently looking for a number of GMP cleaners to work for a client based in Darlington
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALITY OF WORK
A focus to maintain compliance with the site’s GMP procedures and protocols
To have full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment and duties. Report any equipment faults or defects to Cleaning Manager
To ensure that only correct cleaning materials are used on site and for the correct purpose. All cleaning chemicals must be used safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Guidelines (COSHH)
To ensure that all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards to include any work schedule / SOP / Planned Maintenance driven cleaning activities.
Dispose of waste according to the defined procedures.
Provide cover in other areas in times of sickness and holidays, as per training alignments allow.
To attend appropriate training sessions and ensure My learning is completed correctly and compliant 100% of the time.
Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance and general cleanliness complying with client regulations
To always attempt to improve on existing standards of work. To perform any other reasonable duties as required by your supervisor or Manager.
To be polite, friendly and helpful at all times.
To visually and verbally recognize the client in a pleasant manner.
To act upon client comments / requests in line with company policy.

To be prepared at all times to assist your colleagues and move from one activity to another within your overall remit.

HEALTH, SAFETY & THE ENVIRONMENT
To make sure you meet the legal, company and client regulations for fire, health, safety and the environment.
To look out for any problems with the above, reporting them as appropriate to your manager.
To report full details of all accidents and near misses.
To attend every shift in a presentable and hygienic state.
To keep uniform and PPE in an acceptable manner.
To ensure that all equipment and cupboards are kept clean and that equipment and materials are stored safely when not in use.
Ensure that safety signage is used appropriately at all times
To ensure that all equipment being used is in a safe condition, if not then this must be reported.
ATTENDANCE AND TIME-KEEPING
To come to work and leave on time, notifying management if for any reason you are unable to attend (as per the Absence Reporting Procedure)
To be confirmed. Flexibility is required.
£11.00 per hour
